Turn company know-how into 303 SOPs in one day with Manus

Ascendea, a UK CRM and automation company for small businesses, uses Manus as a "chief of staff" (nicknamed James). With it, the company turned scattered process knowledge into a library of standard operating procedures that later served both to train new hires and as instructions for its internal agents.

How it works

  1. Gather the existing process material: loose documents, recordings, checklists and notes.

  2. Ask the agent to group the material by process and write one SOP per process in a standard format.

  3. Review a sample of the SOPs with the people who run each process and fix the format.

  4. Publish the library for onboarding new hires.

  5. Reuse the same SOPs as instructions for the agents that run the routines.

Prompt

Replace anything in [brackets] with your own details.

prompt.txt
Here is all of the company's process material (documents, notes and checklists). Group it by process and write an SOP for each one, with goal, owner, tools, numbered steps and completion criteria. Flag anything ambiguous or missing instead of making it up. The text needs to work both for a new employee and as instructions for an agent to execute.

Reported result

303 SOPs created in one day; the CEO estimated that documenting them by hand would take two people about 14 weeks. Three SDRs hired in April 2026 were serving customers within days. Case published by the vendor itself.
