Add English subtitles to a TikTok video by messaging an OpenClaw agent

Ray Zhu downloaded a Chinese TikTok video, which landed in iCloud Photos synced to the Mac mini running OpenClaw and a local transcription model. He sent a message asking for English subtitles that don't overlap the Chinese ones, and the finished video went back to iCloud so he could post it from his phone.

How it works

  1. Keep OpenClaw running on an always-on computer with a local transcription model installed.

  2. Sync your phone's photo library (iCloud Photos) with that computer.

  3. Download the video on your phone so it shows up in the synced folder.

  4. Message the agent asking for subtitles and saying where they must not go.

  5. Check the subtitled video that comes back to your gallery and post it from your phone.
